Anglian Monarch

The 'Anglian Monarch' is a tug owned and operated by Klyne Tugs on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. She patrols the Dover Straits and is always available as an emergency towing vessel. She is one of four such vessels tasked to areas where there is a high risk of environmental damage due to the grounding of broken down vessels. Unlike the other vessels based in the South Western Approaches, Fair Isle and the Minches, her charter is jointly funded by the UK and French governments.
