Folkestone Raft Race - The end of July saw Dover lifeboat attend the Folkestone Harbour Festival which raises large amounts of money for Dover lifeboat. This photograph shows some of the Dover lifeboat crew taking part in the raft race aboard their lifeboat themed raft. The lifeboat itself had to leave to rescue the occupants of a broken down fishing boat. Thanks go to Coombe Valley Transport for the provision of a trailer to transport the raft to Folkestone.
