| 10/07/2005 | A fishing boat 'Cracker Gal' had broken down south of Samphire Hoe. Whilst about to take vessel in tow Coastguards requested urgent assistance in search for an overdue swimmer near Hythe's Imperial Hotel. Leaving 'Cracker Gal' anchored the crew made their way to Hythe. The swimmer was recovered safely by another vessel. The Lifeboat then returned to 'Cracker Gal' and towed her back to Dover. |
