15/01/2006 Recovery of person from base of cliffs near South Foreland Lighthouse.

08/02/2006 Yacht with engine and radio failure towed to Dover.

28/02/2006 19 foot yacht with engine failure off Folkestone. Towed into Dover.
02/03/2006 Medevac of injured crewman from foreign warship.  
03/03/2006 Search for suspected man overboard from cross channel ferry.  
05/04/2006 False alarm with good intent.  
04/05/2006 Broken down cabin cruiser - Towed to Dover.  
16/05/2006 Broken down 20m trawler - Towed to Dover.
25/05/2006 Derelict dinghy floating off Copt Point, Folkestone. Recovered to Dover.
30/05/2006 Another derelict dinghy this time off Dover. Recovered to Dover.
01/06/2006 Requested by Dover Coastguard to investigate a van in the sea off the Warren.  
11/06/2006 Diverted from exercise - Inflatable whale recovered from near Goodwin Sands.
13/06/2006 Took over tow of broken down motor boat from Dungeness lifeboat.
24/06/2006 Not launched but crew deployed to assist Kent Ambulance Service with transfer of injured diver from dive boat to ambulance and then onto Kent Air Ambulance.
29/06/2006 Search for person missing in sea at Folkestone.  
03/07/2006 Four persons cut off by tide near Shakespeare Cliff.
04/07/2006 Person in water at Folkestone - stood down as boat launched.  
11/07/2006 Dinghy with 3 persons onboard drifting off Folkestone.  
22/07/2006 Broken down yacht towed into Dover.  
22/07/2006 Persons reported in water near Folkestone Pier.  
23/07/2006 Broken down 36ft Motor Cruiser drifting near Goodwin Sands.
27/07/2006 Motor boat with suspected engine fire. Towed to Dover by lifeboat where it was met by Fire crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service. Fire fighters in breathing apparatus boarded vessel to investigate engine room.  
28/07/2006 Disabled yacht just off Folkestone towed to Dover.  
29/07/2006 Lifeboat diverted from Folkestone Raft Race to a broken down fishing vessel 3 miles off Folkestone. The vessel was towed to Dover.
30/07/2006 Windsurfer believed to be in distress near Folkestone. Lifeboat launched but stood down within seconds of leaving berth as windsurfer had made it to shore. Crew then requested to be at immediate readiness by HM Coastguard as the windsurfer had returned to the water. Finally stood down after another ten minutes.  
31/07/2006 50' Motor vessel reported ingress of water whilst on passage to Dover. Located, pumped out and towed into Dover.  
  8 metre yacht broken down off Folkestone.  
26/08/2006 55' Dutch style barge broken down 5 miles east of Dover. Towed to Dover Marina.
  Escort of 21m converted barge encountering heavy weather off Dover.  
  Broken down fishing boat towed to Folkestone.  
08/09/2006 Capsized dinghy off Folkestone. Two persons recovered from the water.  
08/09/2006 Search for suspected missing person at Folkestone.  
13/09/2006 Small vessel with two persons onboard disabled off Folkestone. Towed to Dover.  
22/09/2006 Yacht broken down near Sandettie Lightship taken to Ramsgate.  
26/09/2006 Diverted from exercise to assist search at Abbotscliffe.  
     
12/11/2006 Search for missing person between Langdon Cliffs and St Margarets Bay.  
13/11/2006 Major international search in channel for two persons suspected lost from cross-channel ferry. Walmer and French lifeboats plus French Helicopters and naval vessel as well as a Belgian helicopter and UK Coastguard land, sea and air assets.
23/11/2006 Towed yacht with engine failure into Dover in gale force conditions
26/12/2006 Broken down fishing boat drifting in shipping lanes. Towed to Dover  
27/12/2006 Diverted from exercise - False alarm with good intent
