A letter of appreciation was awarded to Mr C. Burn by the RNLI's Medical and Survival Committee for a service to a seriously injured man who had fallen from cliffs near Dover.
  Notable service to the converted tug 'Jolly'.

Fifty service calls carried out by the lifeboat crew during the year.
2006
Two missing passengers missing from a ferry lead to a ten hour search.

Roy Pain was awarded Honorary Life Governorship for services to RNLI.
  The lifeboat launched on service 36 times during the year and a Letter of Thanks was received for the service to the dismasted yacht 'Windshear'.
  Stuart Richardson is appointed Coxswain.
